Contact Form 7 SMS integration with WinSMS

Contact Form 7 SMS integration is easy to get working with WinSMS by installing and configuring additional WordPress plugins. This will enable you to configure SMS messages to go off to admin staff and/or visitors once a contact form has been submitted. You must have a WinSMS account in order to get Contact Form 7 SMS integration with WinSMS. If you do not have an account, please click here to register. General knowledge of WordPress, WordPress plugins and WordPress Contact Forms 7 is required. Please make sure Contact Forms 7 is installed before continuing with these instructions. Contact Form 7 SMS integration instructions

Make sure you are logged into your WordPress site with a user with sufficient privileges to install and configure plugins.

Go to "Plugins" and click on "Add New"

 

Click in the "Search plugins..." search box.


Type "Contact Form 7 SMS Integration"



Click on the "Install Now" button of the "Contact Form 7 SMS Integration" plugin



Click on the "Activate" button of the "Contact Form 7 SMS Integration" plugin



Go to "Contact" and click on "Sms Integrations"

 

Click on the "Settings" tab. Copy and paste the following code into the "SMS Service API" text box. https://www.winsms.io/api/batchmessage.asp?User=YourWinSMSusername&Password=YourWinSMSpassword&Message={MESSAGE}&Numbers={MOBILENUMBER}, Replace YourWinSMSusername and YourWinSMSpassword with your WinSMS username and password. Click on the "Update API" button.



Go to "Contact"  and click on "Contact Forms"

 

The next step requires you to have a contact form, if you do not have one then create one to proceed. Click on your contact form,
for this example my form is called "Contact form Test"



Click on the "ALL BULK SMS" tab.

 

Configure your Admin SMS Notifications and/or Visitor SMS Notifications here. Congratulations you have successfully set up Contact Form 7 SMS Integration. 

Contact Form 7 International SMS Integration instructions

Make sure you are logged into your WordPress site with a user with sufficient privileges to install and configure plugins. Please note that contact numbers must be in international format. Go to "Plugins" and click on "Add New"



Click in the "Search plugins..." search box.


Type "Contact Form 7 International SMS Integration"



Click on the "Install Now" button of the "Contact Form 7 International SMS Integration" plugin



Click on the "Activate" button of the "Contact Form 7 International SMS Integration" plugin

 

Go to "Contact" and click on 'International SMS"

 

Enable the check boxes for Customer and/or Admin SMS notifications depending on what notifications you want. Don't forget to add the Admin Mobile numbers (Separated by a comma) of the Admin staff that is going to receive these notifications. Once done
click on the "Save Changes" button.



Click on the "SMS Gateway" tab and fill in the following settings... SMS Gateway URL: https://www.winsms.io/api/batchmessage.asp? API Processing Method: Post SMS Gateway Attributes: User=YourWinSMSusername&Password=YourWinSMSpassword&Message=%message%&Numbers=%tonumber% Replace YourWinSMSusername and YourWinSMSpassword with your WinSMS username and password. Encode URL Attributes: Tick the checkbox. Available Sender ID's: WinSMS Default Sender ID: Leave this for now as you will not be able to change this until you have a Sender ID Click on the
"Save Changes" button.

 

Now select WinSMS from "Default Sender ID" and click on the "Save Changes" button.

 

Go to "Contact"  and click on "Contact Forms"

 

The next step requires you to have a contact form, if you do not have one then create one to proceed. Click on your contact form,



Click on the "CF7 Interntional SMS" tab.



Enable and configure your Visitor SMS Notifications and/or Admin SMS Notifications here. Congratulations you have successfully set up Contact Form 7 International SMS Integration.
